Before you know it 2013 will be here.  Dollywood is preparing for the new year with exciting new shows and attractions you can only experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. 

Here are a few of the things you can look forward to at Dollywood in 2013:

Two new shows take the stage at Dollywood’s Festival of Nations – Cirque Shanghai and Mystic India.  Festival of Nations is scheduled for March 23 – April 22.

The highlight of the Bluegrass & Barbeque Festival will be a performance by Vince Gill & The Time Jumpers on May 25.  The great music and great barbeque continues through June 9 with free daily concerts by the biggest names in bluegrass, including Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and many, many more.

A nightly fireworks show and the Great American Country Show will celebrate summer during The Great American Summer Festival, scheduled for June 22 – August 4. Dollywood will also be open from 10am-10pm during the summer season to ensure you have enough time to enjoy all the theme park has to offer.

During Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival, A Christmas Carol will take the stage.  This original adaptation is sure to be a favorite of park goers.  Dollywood's Christmas Carol joins the five-time Golden Ticket Award-winning Best Christmas Event's entertainment lineup.

And don’t forget – Dollywood’s Splash Country is opening RiverRush in May 2013.  It is Tennessee’s first water coaster and features twists, turns, thrills and spills.
