October 2012 Events in Pigeon Forge

October 1-31:  Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival
Enjoy fall in the Smokies with autumn displays around the county and special events all month long in Pigeon Forge, Gatinburg, Sevierville, and Townsend.

October 1-31:  Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg
Hear the Bavarian Fun Makers Band and get a taste of Bavarian-style food and drink during Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg. Enjoy special beers along with German wurst, schnitzel, strudel, and more.

October 3 – November 3:  Dollywood’s National Southern Gospel & Harvest Celebration
Dollywood will feature four weeks of southern gospel music along with handmade displays from craftsmen. All concerts are included with regular park admission and take place throughout the park.

October 6-7:  Smoky Mountain Woodcarving Festival
The festival will be held at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center in Townsend. See artifacts dating as far back as 3000 B.C. and learn about Native American and early settler life. Admission is $4 for adults and the event is open from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 12pm-4pm on Sunday.

October 26:  Ray Stevens in Concert
Ray Stevens will perform two concerts at the Country Tonite Theatre on Friday, October 26. The 3pm and 8pm shows are $44.50 plus tax. For tickets or questions call 800-792-4308.
