Upcoming August Events in Pigeon Forge

August 1-31:  Celebrate Freedom Month
All month long will be a tribute to military, police officers, firefighters, and other emergency responders in Pigeon Forge. Select businesses in town will be giving discounts throughout August. View the list of participating businesses.

August 4:  Pigeon Forge Midnight 8K Road Race
Run through the flat streets of Pigeon Forge at midnight in this fast-paced race. Registration is $30, but receive a discount when you register online.

August 4:  Stringtime in the Smokies
The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge presents Stringtime in the Smokies. Listen to bluegrass music in The Old Mill Square. Admission is free.  

August 4:  Smoky Mountain Cornhole Tournament
Sign up for the cornhole tournament that’s in memory of Sergeant Brett Benton. There is an amateur and professional division. Begins at 11am at The Old Mill Square.

August 24-26:  Smoky Mountain Relic Show & Sale
The Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge will host the 3rd annual Smoky Mountain Relic Show & Sale where you can view authentic Civil War era muskets, rifles, pistols, photographs, uniforms, and other artifacts. There will be an artillery demo and live entertainment. Tickets are $8 at the door.

August 27-29:  16th Annual World Premiere Gospel Concert
The Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center will host the Annual World Premiere Gospel Concert. Hear gospel music and preaching. For more information call 800-251-4444.
